Aazerach (along with Caraglow), was the runner-up of the 1st Design Contest. Aazerach was designed by 'Aurora'.
Bio[]
Aazerachs are demonic beings of pure magic that come from another world. Since they are able to freely cross the barrier between their world and ours, an occult summoning circle is necessary to trap them. Although Aazerachs seem to have eyes on their heads, they are actually blind. They detect living beings through some unknown supernatural sense.
History[]
According to the Blind Starseer's own writing, she was visited by an Aazerach when she was very young. The demon took her eyesight, but granted her the same supernatural sense that Aazerachs possess. Over time, it allowed her to gain the demonic knowledge that led to the creation of the Ahrimaaya, the tome of demons. According to her later writings, she spent many years trying to escape other Aazerachs that were hunting her. Supposedly, Aazerachs watch over our world and step in whenever humans come too close to finding out about the worlds around us.
Acquisition[]
Aazerach is a super Champion Monster in the Stronghold Dungeon. You can obtain its egg by achieving a 5-star rating and only once per playthrough. Click here for more details!
Once you have finished the main storyline, go to the Teleporter Stone room in the Stronghold Dungeon. You will find Trevisan, who tells you of an Aazerach hiding in the room with six illuminated fireplaces in the wall. He gives you the demonic tome, Ahrimaaya, used to lure the Aazerach out. Go to the said room directly west of the Teleporter Stone room. You also need to activate a ground switch using a Monster with Summon Big Rock to open the gate. When you enter the mysterious room, move closer to the center, and the Aazerach will appear.
It can also be obtained from Reward Box lvl 5.

Trivia[]
- Aazerach is the only Champion Monster (excluding the Spectral Familiars and the dark-shifted Catzerker) that can only be fought after finishing the main storyline.
- Based on a feedback survey back in May 2021, Aazerach was one of the Top 20 community's favorite Monster, it being in the 17th place.
