Bio[]
The Beetloid is quite a terrifying creature, which is why the Keepers try to keep their population low. Its horn and lower abdomen are mainly comprised of a unique type of metal called beetlium. The lower abdomen resembles an electromagnetic coil, consisting of many beetlium threads. It allows the Beetloid to charge and store a deadly amount of electricity, whereas the horn is used as a lightning rod to protect it from incoming lightning. A fight between two Beetloids in their prime is quite a sight to behold - if one lives to tell the tale.
History[]
It is unknown how the Beetloids came into being. However, it is peculiar that they emerged only after humanity had discovered electricity and begun industrialisation. The most popular theory states that the Beetloid is nature's response to humanity's advances in technology. A less popular theory states that a mad scientist created the Beetloids as living energy generators.
Acquisition[]
Beetloid is a Champion Monster in the Stronghold Dungeon. You can obtain its egg by achieving a 5-star rating and only once per playthrough. Click here for more details!
Starting from the Teleporter Stone, go left and then the bottom left exit of the next room. You meet up with Will, saying the Dungeon's library is further ahead, underneath the sewers. Keep going left until you see Will again. This time he tells you he managed to defeat a Champion Monster just before another one appears. He lets you to take care of the Beetloid.
