Blob is the first Monster the player encounters and obtains in the Mountain Path upon starting the game.
Bio[]
Gelatinous, amorphous, transparent, semi-solid, slimy - Blobs. Many Keepers don't think much of them, but it should be noted that there were several high-ranking Monster Keepers in history who employed a Blob in their team of Monsters. Keeper Master Duncan even once called his Blob his "most trusty and steely companion", although it might have been in jest. It is tradition for the Monster Keepers of that family to manage a farm of blobs just west of the Keeper's Stronghold.
History[]
The Blobs were denizens of the Monster Sanctuary from the moment it was created. Curiously, there are no known stories of the Blob from the Old World. Could it be that the magic that was used to create the Sanctuary somehow also brought the Blobs into the world? Are they just a random by-product of the Sanctuary or is their existence linked to the nature of the Sanctuary? Nobody knows for sure as the scribes from that era didn't seem to assign the Blobs much importance. They took the Blobs for granted, and perhaps it is best for us to do the same. The notion of a hidden realm that is only inhabited by Blobs is generally seen as ridiculous by most Monster Keepers.

Evolution[]
Blob evolves into King Blob with the Majestic Crown evolution catalyst. It shares this trait with Ice Blob, Lava Blob, Rainbow Blob, and Tar Blob.
A King Blob evolved from a Blob will inherit the Heal Charging and Curse Chain Shift Passives.
