Caraglow (along with Aazerach) was the runner-up of the 1st Design Contest. Caraglow was designed by 'Azaliate'.
Bio[]
Small, feline and fun-loving creatures that love to play around in the dark areas of the Monster Sanctuary. Many Keepers see the Caraglow as a sign of good luck while exploring dark caves. Caraglows happily guide lost Keepers out of caves and caverns, travelling ahead of them while carrying their lights by the handle in their mouths. Despite being friendly towards travellers and Keepers, a Caraglow is extremely protective of their burrow and will attempt to guide travellers away from it. Should that fail, the Caraglow will defend their burrow by attacking trespassers with its sharp claws.
History[]
The Caraglow are seen by many as one of the friendliest and most domesticable Monsters in the Monster Sanctuary, and many retired Keepers keep them as pets. It is advised for Keepers wishing to keep a Caraglow that they are provided with a room or area that is left dark, as Caraglows tend to get rowdy and destructive otherwise. However, once well-adjusted to the lighting of homes and outdoor environments, a Caraglow is as playful as they are in caves, and they make for great pets for children or lonely older individuals to take care of.

Trivia[]
- Caraglow's design is based on the caracal, a medium-sized wild cat native to Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and arid areas of Pakistan and northwestern India.
- Caraglow's name is a portmanteau of the words caracal and glow (referencing the bright ball it has).
