Cleansing Burn is a Unique Aura passive skill that has a chance to remove a random Buff from an enemy when an allied Monster applies Burn on it or whenever it takes Burn damage. When applying the first Burn stack or on the first Burn damage proc on an enemy, the chance is 75%. The chance is reduced to 37.5% on subsequent applications/procs. This passive does not trigger when Burn is applied to an allied Monster through Necromancy.

When an enemy takes Burn damage, the Monster that removes the Buff is the one with the Cleansing Burn passive, while in the case of applying Burn, the applier is the one responsible for the Buff removal. Depending on the Buff remover, Cleansing Burn would trigger any effects owned by the Monster or originating from other Auras, such as Punishment (when attacking) and Buff Steal. Multiple instances of allied Cleansing Burn on the field do not stack, and, in the former scenario (Burn does damage), only the frontmost Monster's Cleansing Burn takes effect.
