	Disease Control	Receive 4% reduced damage from a debuffed enemy for each Debuff on them.

Effect

Disease Control is a passive skill that reduces the damage an enemy deals to the Monster with this passive by up to 4% for each Debuff on the attacker. The effectiveness of this reduction gradually diminishes as more Debuffs are inflicted. Additional stacks of a Debuff are also only half as effective, providing approximately a 2% reduction each. If a hit results in the attacking enemy gaining a Debuff during an attack, this passive will be dynamically updated for any subsequent incoming hits. Effects from the attacker that bypass damage reduction, such as Forceful Might and Forceful Sorcery, can lower the effectiveness of the damage reduction provided by Disease Control.

Disease Control stacks multiplicatively with multiple instances of itself on a Monster, as well as with other sources of damage reduction, but with diminishing returns. The damage reduction from a single instance of Disease Control (without accounting for damage reduction bypass from the attacker) is calculated as follows:

The strength of the first stack of a Debuff has a value of 1.0, whereas additional stacks of the same Debuff are valued at 0.5 each. For instance, the total Debuff strength of Burn and Poison would be 2.0, whereas the total Debuff strength of 2 stacks of Burn would be 1.5.
