Horizon Beach is the easternmost region of the Monster Sanctuary. One of the only locations from which people have traveled between the Sanctuary and the Old World, this region is blanketed with beaches and rife with underwater caves containing buried pirate treasure. You will need to be able to swim to access these areas, though strong currents cannot be overcome without Improved Swimming. Locals call the utter easternmost region the "Horizon Cliffs". Extending far up into the sky, you will need a monster with Improved Flying to reach the heights.
Horizon Beach is connected to the Ancient Woods in the west, and to the Magma Chamber below (and to the west). There are two entrances to the Forgotten World below, though the eastern entrance must be first opened from the other side.
Storyline[]
Initially entering Horizon Beach the Hero runs into Leonard, who proceeds to tell them that someone is looking for experienced Monster Keepers to go on a treasure hunt in the underwater caves. Continuing on, they run into the Old Man by the Sea, who proceeds to tell them about the treasure hunt looking for the lost treasures of his pirate ancestor. Julia also appears and is also taking part in the treasure hunt. The Old Man mentions that his ancestor left clues for finding his treasure, one of them being "It takes three to enter the maw of the beast". He also mentions that a Memorial Ring should also be hidden somewhere in the caves.
Entering deep into the underwater caves, the Hero finds Leonard trapped in a pit. To help him, a monster with Improved Flying must be obtained. Once Leonard is saved, they traverse deeper into the caves. There exists a room in the underwater caves that contains the journal of the pirate and the Memorial Ring. Further on, the Hero runs into Leonard and Julia, who are standing on two of three ground switches in front of a rock formation that resembles a creature's mouth. Once all three Spectral Keepers stand on the switches, the mouth opens for them to continue on. Deeper in the underwater cave, they find the Champion Monster Elderjel, and fight over who should be the one to defeat it. Since Leonard was saved by the Hero, he gives the honors to them. However Julia wasn't part of that event at all, and challenges the Hero to a Keeper Duel for the honors.

Once Julia is defeated, the Hero can then go on to fight the Elderjel. Once defeated, the treasure behind it is split threeways among the Keepers. Part of the treasure is also another Sanctuary Token.

Monster Farm[]
The Monster Farm is a location for the player to drop off monsters so as to either start a collection, or tidy up the monsters in the party. The monsters in the Monster Farm do not gain any experience while in the farm. It is only for storage.

The Fisherman lives on the eastern most beach in a fishing shack. He is collecting Rare Seashells, and if given five of them, he'll give in return the Fishing Rod.
Level Scaling Keeper[]
She gives the player an option to raise the level of all wild Monsters, based on the player's current Keeper Rank. Turning off this option will return the wild Monsters back to their original levels.
