Kanko was the winning entry of the 2nd Design Contest, designed by 'Zuty'.
Bio[]
Kankos were summoned and bound to our world by shamans. The only way to bring forth a Kanko is through the embers and smoke of a pipe, which is why they are also referred to as "pipe foxes". They exude an aura of protection against evil spirits and are fiercely defensive when guarding the one they consider their master. They are formidable against even the largest of evil spirits.
History[]
In the year 90 AC, a hundred-year-old man came to the Monster Sanctuary. He was one of the last remnants of a solitary mountain village. He had to leave his home to preserve their ancient mystic arts, for he was the last in a long line of spirit summoners. After spending some time in the Sanctuary, he deemed it a safe haven for the spirits that he brought with him. That's how the art of summoning Kankos has become known to the Sanctuary.
Acquisition[]
Kanko is an optional Champion Monster in the Sun Palace. You can obtain its egg by achieving a 5-star rating and only once per playthrough. Click here for more details!
Use a Monster with Ignite, Fiery Shots, or Lightning Bolt on the pipe to initiate the fight
Once the tower has been raised for the third time, climb the tower and enter the left room. In the room, there is a pipe on the ground. Using a Monster with Ignite, Fiery Shots, or Lightning Bolt on it will trigger the battle with Kanko.
It can also be obtained from Reward Box lvl 3.

- Kanko's name and design are based on the Kuda-gitsune (also pronounced kanko), a spirit in the guise of a small mammal that is able to fit inside a pipe or bamboo tube.
