The King Blob rules over all other Blobs in the Monster Sanctuary.

Bio[]

King Blobs are the proud monarchs of the Blob family. They are much larger than any of the other Blobs, bear a slime-drenched crown and scepter, and they are known to be able to command other Blobs to do their bidding.

History[]

Since 155 AC, a number of King Blobs have appeared in seemingly random places of the Monster Sanctuary, always posing a danger that should not be underestimated. If left alone for too long, a King Blob will amass legions upon legions of loyal Blobs. The very first King Blob managed to rile up an army of Blobs large enough to conquer the entire Mountain Path. It appears that King Blobs are created when several smaller Blobs come together and combine. King Blobs are said to represent the shared anger of the many Blobs of the Sanctuary, which are often not taken seriously due to their nice and well-meaning nature.

Acquisition[]

King Blob is an optional Champion Monster in Blob Burg. Unlike most Champion Monsters, achieving a 5-star rating will not reward you with its egg but instead, a Majestic Crown catalyst. Therefore, under normal circumstances, it can only be obtained through evolution. Click here for more details!

King Blob Champ Terrain

To get to King Blob, you need to open certain chests, which open up entrances to new rooms in Blob Burg. You can enter King Blob's room from the top left ceiling entrance in the Teleporter Stone room.

In Randomizer and Bravery, it is possible to obtain its egg from certain NPCs, Monster chests, or Reward Boxes. Additionally, unlike other evolved Monsters, wild King Blobs in Randomizer can drop its own egg.

Evolution[]

King Blob evolves from Blob, Ice Blob, Lava Blob, Rainbow Blob, or Tar Blob with the Majestic Crown evolution catalyst. Whichever base form you evolve will carry its Shifts to the King Blob. Thus, it can have any of the following Shift passives, depending which one you evolve:

All healing skills give the healed Monster a Charge stack for each heal. (Active and Passive) Whenever this Monster applies a Debuff to an enemy, 35% chance to spread that Debuff to another enemy.
Light Instinct Shadow Proc
Decrease damage taken by 15%. Every action applies a damage hit (75% Attack or Magic), shield (75% Defense), heal (7.5% Max Health) or a random Buff, depending on action type.
Supremacy Dark Instinct
Aura: Whenever an allied Monster applies a Debuff, it gains 2 Charge stacks. Increases damage dealt by 20%.
Mass Mystify Debuff Mastery
Aura: When an allied Monster applies a Debuff, it has a 70% chance to apply a random Buff to a random ally. This Monster may apply an additional stack of any Debuff. Additional stacks are only half as strong.
Debuff Variety Overheal
Aura: For every different type of Debuff on an enemy Monster, it deals 3% less damage and takes 3% more damage. Unique Aura: When an allied Monster is getting healed above Max Health, convert 50% of that amount into a Shield.

Static Mass 30% chance to gain a random Buff when landing a non-Critical Hit during attacks.
Warlock Healing For every heal applied there is a 10% chance to apply Poison, Weakness or Armor Break on a random enemy.
Auto Heal When attacking, also heal the Monster with the lowest Health in the party by 200% of Magic.
Remunerate When applying a Debuff, 60% chance to gain Regeneration (Buff).
Toxin Every hit has a 10% chance to apply Poison.
Purify Healing actions also remove 4 harmful Stacks (Bleed, Wound, Blind, Tether). Multi-Target-Heals remove 2.
Bolster Healing actions apply two random Buffs to the target. (Multi-Target-Heals apply one random Buff to each target)
Trickster Buffing For every Buff applied there is a 15% chance to apply Chill, Shock or Burn to a random enemy.
Chilling Cold Every Water attack hit has a 15% chance to apply Chill.
Buffing Heal When applying a Buff, also heal the target by 50% of this Monster's Magic.
