Bio[]
A rare, solitary creature that avoids contact with humans and other Monsters at almost all times. It seems that a Qilin is most at ease while it's enjoying a moment of pure solitude in nature. Qilins are therefore considered to be gentle and pure-hearted, without any intention to bother or disturb other living beings.
History[]
It's believed that a Qilin will only show itself to an exceptional Keeper who has caught the Qilin's attention. It never happens more than once every twenty years or so, but it's always seen as a sign of good fortune for the entire Monster Sanctuary. Even though it might just be superstition, the Keeper of a Qilin is usually treated with a lot of respect and their opinions are greatly valued. It's almost as if people believed that the Qilin grants its Keeper great wisdom. Who knows - perhaps that is actually the case?
Acquisition[]
Qilin is a Champion Monster in the Sun Palace. You can obtain its egg by achieving a 5-star rating and only once per playthrough. Click here for more details!
After raising the tower and lowering the water once, you are able to explore the first section of the aqueducts area. At the end of the section is the second lever puzzle of the Sun Palace. Once you solve the puzzle, you will find Qilin at the end of the next room.
