Reward Boxes are consumable items that give a random item from its listed content. Each item has an equal probability of being selected. Eggs of Swimming Monsters cannot be obtained from Reward Boxes until the story segments at the Sun Palace are finished. Eggs also have a 50% chance to be Shifted once it is unlocked.
Some of the advanced game modes can modify the content of Reward Boxes, as listed below:
- If Randomizer is active, Monster eggs are swapped accordingly.
- If Bravery is active, Reward Boxes cannot drop Monster eggs.
- If Relics of Chaos is active, Reward Boxes can drop Relics as possible rewards.
Reward Boxes can be obtained from chests, Infinity Arena, Monster drops or at certain events during the story. All Reward Boxes are not carried over when playing New Game+. There are seven types of Reward Boxes.
