Bio[]
Silvaeros are an evolutionary offshoot of Vaeros, which have become much larger due to the natural phenomenon of island gigantism. Some even believe that the Silvaeros used to be much larger before they came to the Monster Sanctuary - but it's hard to say, due to the many conflicting accounts and exaggerated stories. The feathers of the Silvaero are practically charged with magical energy, capable of invoking the full force of the winds of winter. In particular, the silver feathers of the Silvaero are sometimes kept by Monster Keepers as lucky charms.
History[]
When sailors first found the distant Silvaero islands, they were in awe of this mighty monstrous bird's size. Their accounts led to the Silvaeros' inclusion in many popular folktales and stories, their size becoming an ever increasing exaggeration. It is probably true that those sailors saw a Silvaero swooping down from the sky to pick up and carry off a fully-grown elephant. However - what most accounts neglect to mention - when the sailors got closer to the elephants, they realized that they were pygmy elephants, which had grown smaller due to island dwarfism.
Acquisition[]
Silvaero can be encountered in the Horizon Beach. However, they drop Vaero eggs instead of their own. Therefore, under normal circumstances, it can only be obtained through evolution. Click here for its location details!
In Randomizer and Bravery, it is possible to obtain its egg from certain NPCs, Monster chests, or Reward Boxes.
