Skorch was the winning entry of the 1st Design Contest, designed by 'Pixelbit'.
Bio[]
Known as "candle dragons", Skorches are the smallest and most unassuming dragon-type Monsters. They also have overly cheery and friendly dispositions, and it is said that a Skorch would never fight for itself. For those reasons, Skorches were long considered to be only fit as pets. However, if a Skorch is treated for years with love and respect by a human, something grows inside of them. When the time comes, and the Skorch's Keeper is threatened, it is as if the Skorch's very soul suddenly lights up. The Skorch becomes incredibly fierce and fiery, it's fighting strength only limited by the bond to its Keeper.
History[]
The first Skorches were created from ordinary candles by a warlock who had wished to have the power of dragons at his command. However, he only took a single glance at his creations and threw them out. It is believed that Skorches carry the burden of the disappointment to this day, and it is for this reason that they so desire to bond with a Keeper. Skorches came to the Sanctuary out of their own accord when it was created.
Acquisition[]
Skorch cannot be encountered in the wild. A Skorch egg is given by Bex once the player defeats him in a Keeper Duel in the Magma Chamber. Click here for more details!
Skorch is first seen in the Blue Caves, owned by a man named Bex. Afterwards, you will encounter him in other areas of the Sanctuary, going to the next each time you talk to him. You will meet him for the fourth time in the Magma Chamber, where he challenges you to a Keeper Duel. Defeating his team will reward you with a Skorch egg. You must encounter him in the previous three areas before finding him in the Magma Chamber. The previous three areas, in order, are Blue Caves, Sun Palace, and Horizon Beach.
It can also be obtained from Reward Box lvl 4.
