Bio[]

A blazing phantom that bears the shape of a human's skeleton. It is believed that its flames are capable of burning away both flesh and spirit - that if you get too close to a hostile Specter's fire, you might lose a part of your soul. According to the accounts of unfortunate Keeper Rangers, it would burn away into a puff of smoke that smells like brimstone. Furthermore, these unfortunate Keepers experienced an unnatural chill in their bones, which would only dissipate after a few days.

History[]

The first Specter appeared in the Monster Sanctuary in 13 AC. It seemed to be peaceable, sticking to its territory. However, stories of Keepers who approached it and experienced strange sensations quickly spread throughout the Sanctuary and spurred superstition. Some Monster Keepers argued that the Specter was an incarnation of evil and had to be vanquished. However, the Spectral Keepers decided that all Monsters deserved sanctuary.

Acquisition[]

Specter is an optional Champion Monster in the Blue Caves. You can obtain its egg by achieving a 5-star rating and only once per playthrough. Click here for more details!

The Specter Champion

Once you obtain the Double Jump Boots, you are able to explore the western parts of the Blue Caves. Specter can be found in the far top right area after the room with the Lightning and Earth Orbs.

It can also be normally encountered in the Abandoned Tower or obtained from Reward Box lvl 1. Click here for its location details!

Aura Passives

Incinerate Unique Aura: When an enemy takes Burn (Debuff) damage, 40% chance to apply Armor Break.
Glorious Spark Unique Aura: Allied Monsters with Glory trigger an additional 40% damage hit. Additional stacks of Glory increase the damage by an additional 20%.
Fatal Upkeep Aura: Poison, Burn and Congeal damage dealt to enemies is increased by 20%.
Congeal Unique Aura: Chill (Debuff) deals damage to enemies at the start of their turn based on their missing Mana.
Multi Glory Aura: Glory (Buff) can be stacked two additional times. Additional stacks are only half as strong.
Trickster Spirit Aura: Whenever a Spirit Monster in the party applies a Buff or a Debuff, it is shielded by 4% of its Max Health.
