Spectral Wolf is one of the four Spectral Familiars that the player can choose at the beginning of the game. It is often seen as the default Familiar for the player as it is not fully predetermined as to which Spectral Keeper it goes to, only being possessed by the other Keepers when the player chooses the Keeper's intended Familiar.

Bio[]

In tales from the Old World, the Spectral Wolf is described as the most cunning of the Familiars and he was said to be the guardian patron of the snowy mountains and dark forests. As with all the other Spectral Familiars, Wolf was revered and respected too, but his relation to the people of the Old World seems more complicated. The dark forests of the Wolf were feared and avoided, but at the same time, the shamans called on the power of the Wolf to protect the newborns from warlocks and other dark influences.

History[]

Since the creation of the Monster Sanctuary in 0 AC, the Spectral Wolf has been the Spectral Familiar of the Veles bloodline. In modern Sanctuary folklore, the Spectral Wolf is said to be a friend to strangers and those who prefer the company of beasts to the company of men - who would rather stay in the wilds than in the warm halls of the Keeper's Stronghold. Keepers of the Spectral Wolf aren't seen as particularly warm people, but they are respected for their keen judgment. Thanks to their perceptive and logical nature, they are often called upon to decide on matters of dispute among residents of the Monster Sanctuary.

Acquisition[]

Spectral Wolf is one of the four Spectral Familiars the player chooses at the beginning of the game. If the player chooses a different Familiar, they are still able to obtain it at a later point in the game. Click here for more details!

Once you have reached Keeper Master, go to the top of the Keepers' Tower, talk to the Keeper there, and a portal to the Eternity's End will appear. A version of Vertraag will greet you upon entering and explain the realm's origin and purpose. You can fight the Spectral Wolf at the top left blue platform. If you did not choose Spectral Wolf as your Familiar, you get a Spectral Wolf egg; otherwise, you get the Infinity Flame accessory. This can only be done once per playthrough and additional Spectral Wolf eggs can only be obtained through New Game+. If the player chooses Spectral Wolf as their Familiar in New Game+, they will get both the egg and Infinity Flame when defeating it in Eternity's End.

Aura Passives

Hunt Aura: Increases the Critical Chance of the whole party by 4%.
Outlast Unique Aura: When an allied Monster gains their first, second, or third Age stack, they also gain a shield equal to 15% of their Max Health.
Shatter Unique Aura: Chill causes attacks against enemies affected by it to have 10% increased Critical Chance.
Multi Offense Aura: Sidekick (Buff) and Glory (Buff) can be stacked one additional time. Additional stacks of Sidekick have only a 50% chance to trigger.
Multi Chill Aura: Chill (Debuff) can be stacked two additional times on enemies. Additional stacks are only half as strong.
Improved Glory Unique Aura: Glory (Buff) increases Critical Damage by an additional 20%.
Improved Sidekick Unique Aura: Sidekick (Buff) damage increased by an additional 50%.

Double Impact When exploiting an enemy's weakness with an attack, trigger an additional 50% damage hit.

Unlike in wild battles, Monsters can only learn skills from their Skill Tree that align with their current level. The Monster will not learn skills it cannot access at its current level or if the skill is invalid. Skills may be invalid due to incorrect entries, outdated skill sets, or improper number of assigned skills. In Randomizer, Spectral Wolf and the other Familiars are unaffected as they cannot be randomized.
