Status Effects are effects applied during combat. The effect info can be viewed during your turn.
Buffs[]
Buffs are beneficial effects that last until the end of battle (or until removed). Buffs can only be stacked under certain circumstances, such as Multi-Buff Auras, Buff Mastery or Pandora's Box. Buffs are identified by a blue square icon. There are a total of nine Buffs: Might, Sorcery, Barrier, Channel, Glory, Regeneration, Sidekick, Agility, and Spellshield.
Debuffs[]
Debuffs are harmful effects that last until the end of battle (or until removed). Debuffs can only be stacked under certain circumstances, such as Multi-Debuff Auras or Debuff Mastery. Debuffs are identified by a maroon square icon. There are a total of six Debuffs: Burn, Chill, Shock, Poison, Armor Break, and Weakness.
Stacks[]
Stacks are effects that can be stacked indefinitely and last for a certain amount of time or until the end of battle. Stacks can either be beneficial or harmful. Stacks do not count as Buffs or Debuffs. Stacks are identified by an orange square icon. Beneficial stacks include Age, Charge, Predation, and Infinity, whereas harmful stacks include Bleed, Blind, Tether, and Wound.
Redirect[]
Redirects the next attack to the protecting Monster.
Elemental Shift[]
When a Monster with the Elemental Shift trait uses an elemental Damaging action, its weakness and resistance changes depending on the skill used.
Champion[]
The Champion effect is applied only to opposing Champion Monsters. The effect causes Champion Monsters to have higher Health and Mana Regeneration stats than the base form, as well as deal increased damage. It also allows the Monster to act multiple times during its turn.
Increased Health, Attack & Mana Regeneration. Can act multiple times per turn.
Power Focus[]
Power Focus is a special effect gained only from the skill with the same name. Power Focus boosts the damage of the next attack by a percentage. The damage boost is based on the level of Power Focus and the number of allied Monsters that already acted when using the skill. The effect is removed upon using a Damaging action. The Power Focus effect does not infinitely stack; using Power Focus again while still having the effect removes the current stack and gives a new stack corresponding to the number of Monsters acted that turn. Power Focus can be by affected Buff Corruption, despite not considered as a Stack.
