Stolby was the runner-up of the 4th Design Contest, designed by 'RacieB'.
Bio[]
Small of body and long of leg, these curious avian apparitions may sometimes be spotted stalking the darker corners of the Sanctuary. Stolbies are always gathering new insights into the other denizens of the Sanctuary as well as materials for their spells. They are extremely knowledgeable in the fields of herbalism and gemology, and apply these skills in battle both by proliferating dreadful toxins among their enemies, and swiftly healing their allies.
History[]
Despite their apparent quiet nature, Stolbies were said to be descendants of a demon prince, and were thus driven out of the Old World. It was Monster Keepers who quickly realized that, when approached passively, these creatures were quite eager to take on a professorial role and pass along their extensive knowledge of poisons and medicines. After this discovery, it was quite easy to encourage them to take up residence in the Monster Sanctuary. Still, there remain some people who believe that Stolbies are pursuing some secret, nefarious scheme. Since some of the other Occult-Type Monsters of the Sanctuary are also believed to be closely linked to greater demonic entities, it would be wise to keep a watchful eye on the Stolby population of the Sanctuary.
