Support Chord is a passive skill that has a chance to apply another random applicable Buff to an allied Monster for each Buff the Monster with this passive applies to the allied Monster. The chance is 5% for each equipped instrument on the Monster. Applying additional stacks of a Buff does not reduce the chance.
Support Chord cannot trigger itself. Buffs gained from this passive also do not trigger any of the Shared Buff passives, such as Shared Might, and vice versa (for balance reasons). Support Chord and Enlightened can still trigger each other, but the chain will not trigger additional instances of Support Chord.
When a Buffing action is used, Support Chord will only add Combo if the initial Buffs came from the Buffing action, Combo Buffing, Jolly Spirit, Mentor, Sidekick Support, Situational Support, Holy Presence, Shadow Proc, Fishing Rod, or Fishing Pole. It also adds Combo from Duality, Extra Channel, or Enlightened triggered by the aforementioned effects.
The Buff is applied by the Monster with the Support Chord passive, triggering any effects owned by the Monster or originating from other Auras, such as Buffing Heal and Critical Buffs. Monsters receiving this Buff will also trigger other effects, such as Divine Shield and Sun Pendant.
