Terradrile was the second runner-up of the 6th Design Contest, designed by 'Y2A_Alkis'.
Bio[]
These giant worms are among the first Monsters that ever evolved on our world. A Terradrile secretes a magnetic mucus through its skin. Rocks of various sizes cling to its body and are used primarily as armor. Older specimens are able to harness electromagnetism even further, being able to levitate rocks. Those rocks can be spun around, and thus act as a drill, to burrow into the ground at a rapid rate.
History[]
While Crystal Snails terrorized the ancient world above, Terradriles stuck to the underground. They would occasionally dive out of the earth, possibly to prey on the beings living above. This would explain the existence of recovered slabs and cave paintings that indicate the existence of a massive legendary earthworm called J'iim that was feared in various areas of the Old World. Nowadays, Terradriles count among the most elusive of Monsters. It is believed that they still burrow through the deepest layers of the world, where it's almost impossible for humans to enter.
Acquisition[]
Terradrile is a super Champion Monster in the Forgotten World. You can obtain its egg by achieving a 5-star rating and only once per playthrough. Click here for more details!
Terradrile dwells in the far west of the Forgotten World's lowest parts. The passage is blocked by several diamond blocks and breakable walls. Use a Monster with Crush or Charging Mount to destroy both obstacles. In the next room, descend until you spot a narrow path, which requires you to use a Monster with Blob Form or Morph Ball. You then must destroy the right wall to enter Terradrile's room. Keep going right, and you will eventually find Terradrile.
It can also be obtained from Reward Box X.
