Bio[]
Some would say that the best defense is a good offense - but for the Thornish, the opposite is closer to the truth. They possess several defense mechanisms that severely harm those who'd try attacking a Thornish: sharp spines which can inflict deep wounds, a set of razor fangs, a particularly vengeful and ruthless disposition that kicks in at the slightest push, and - last but not least - the most poisonous substance on this world, which is prevalent in almost every single cell and organ of the Thornish.
History[]
It is believed that Thornish are related to Brawlish In some way. The theory goes that there was an off-branch of Brawlish which lived in the ocean depths and didn't have any islands closeby to retreat to. Despite their strong arms, they were vulnerable to the other Monsters of the ocean that could swim faster and more efficiently. So they developed a complex set of defense mechanisms to fight off just about any form of attack. In fact, they ended up becoming some of the most dangerous predators of the oceans themselves, thanks to their ability to goad other Monsters into attacking them.
